German superstar Toni Kroos has taken his illustrious career to an end after announcing his retirement at the age of 34.
Kroos started his football career with the Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich before he swapped the Bavarians to join La Liga side Real Madrid.
Kroos had been a force to reckon with, an unsung hero in the Madrid Midfield, controlling proceedings and safeguarding his defense.
His signature is defence-splitting passes and accuracy while delivering long-range balls, no doubt many call him the pass master.
He formed a partnership with former Ballon D’Or winner Luka Modric and has hence been a key member of the side since his arrival from Bayern.
Kroos has won everything as a footballer including one world cup he scooped in Brazil in 2014 after playing a key role with a superlative performance in that same year when Germany defeated host Nation Brazil 7-1, kroos was the mastermind.
The 34-year old has won five UEFA Champions League titles six FIFA Club World Cups, three Bundesliga titles, all with Bayern Munich, Four La Liga titles, five UEFA Super Cups, three German Cup titles, one Copa del Rey trophy four Spanish Super Cups and One German Super Cup in a trophy-laden career

The German star will play his last club game in the UEFA Champions League final and end his career in the Euros.
