The late veteran singer, Onyeka Onwenu, fondly known as the Elegant Stallion, will be buried in Lagos today.
The beloved artist, who made an indelible mark on Nigeria’s music scene, tragically passed away on July 30 after collapsing at Reddington Hospital, Ikeja.
This occurred shortly after she performed at the birthday celebration of Dr. Stella Okoli, the Managing Director of Emzor Pharmaceuticals.
According to family announcements, the funeral service will be held at the Fountain of Life Church in Ilupeju, followed by a private burial at a vault in Ikoyi.

The funeral flyer indicates that the Service of Songs will occur from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with the burial ceremony scheduled between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
