Manchester United summer signing Leny Yoro is in contention for a place in the side that will face PAOK Thessaloniki in their UEFA Europa League fixture on Thursday.

United will face PAOK at Old Trafford on Thursday in their first European game since after the sack of Erik Ten Hag.

Ten Hag lost his job following a woeful run of results and his assistant Ruud Van Nistelrooy has been in charge since.

The former Manchester United striker has played two games so far as a United coach and has not lost a game yet.

Nistelrooy was at the dog out when United thrashed Leicester City 5-2 in the Carabao cup while also seeing out Chelsea in a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.

PAOK will visit Old Trafford and Yoro is in contention to make his long-awaited Manchester United debut and should it come on Thursday, it will be in front of the home crowd.

The young talented defender was injured during United’s Pre-Season game in the United States and has since been on the sidelines with a potential return soon.
