The Oyo state governor, Engr Seyi Makinde’ has presented an Instrument of Office to the Alaafin designate, Prince Akeem Owoade as the 46th Alaafin of Oyo. The presentation ceremony was done at the Government House on Monday.
The ceremony had in attendance the kingmakers otherwise known as Oyomesi, top government functionaries and eminent personalities from the state.
Alaafin-elect after the presentation headed to Oyo town where he is expected to be received by the sons and daughters of Oyo town.
