A man whose identity is yet to be confirmed was said to have invaded a bank with a bomb in Plateau State. He was, however, prevented and apprehended from causing an imminent tragedy at the the premises of the bank which is located in Dadin Kowa town in the Jos South area of Plateau State.

According to a report obtained and confirmed , it was immediately that the suspect was discovered to have had bomb in his possession that an alarm was raised by the people in the premises and he was swiftly pinned down to avert a tragedy.
In a post on X by a security analyst, Zagazola Makama, on Tuesday, 14th of May, 2024, it was said that the vigilante security at the bank prevented the attack when they spotted the suspect.
Upset by the man’ s act of entering a bank with bomb, a crowd of people descended on the suspect and were reported to have demanded that he should be killed with no further delay.
In one way or the other, the angry mob could not proceed with lynching the suspect to death as some persons in the scene (at the time they descended on him) handed him over to the police for proper investigation.
A picture which was posted on the X platform along with the security analyst’ s post about ” a man invading a Plateau bank with bomb” showed that the suspect strapped the bomb in his belly.
As of press time, much is not known about the man caught with bomb in the Plateau Bank in the latest report. The details about his arrest is still sketchy at the moment as the Plateau State Police Command is yet to release a statement.
