Manchester United outcast Mason Greenwood has agreed to a deal in principle to sign for French Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille on a five-year deal, we can confirm.

Greenwood agreed the deal and the French Club has already booked a private jet for Greenwood to arrive in France for his medicals.

The deal is said to be worth €30 million in full package for the 22-year old.

Greenwood made 119 appearance for Manchester United before his rape case hindered him from playing.

He also scored 32 goals for Manchester United in all competitions with six assists during his stay since his promotion into the senior team from the youth team back in 2018.

After being declared not guilty by a Court of reputable jurisdiction, Greenwood was loaned out to Spanish side Getafe.

Greenwood scored eight goals in 33 appearances providing six assists for Getafe while on loan last season.

He returned to Manchester only to be told the door has been shut against him and the only option is to sell him permanently.

The deal that takes Greenwood to Marseille earns United €30 million in full package with a huge 50 percent sell-on clause as it will run until the summer of 2029 with an option for a further year as discussion for Salary has been concluded.
