Nigerian afrobeats artist and entrepreneur, Oluwatosin Ajibade, better known as Mr Eazi, has passionately advocated for increased collaboration in the realms of education and sports across the African continent. In a recent interview, the music star emphasized the pivotal role these sectors play in driving progress and creating opportunities for the youth.
Reflecting on his recent visit to Rwanda, Mr Eazi expressed his admiration for the country’s efforts in promoting sports development. He specifically highlighted his attendance at the Basketball Africa League (BAL) finals, where he witnessed the best of African basketball talent on display.
“This event showcased the best of African basketball talent, and undoubtedly my presence underscored support for the continent’s sports growth and development,” he stated.
Beyond his love for sports, Mr Eazi’s visit to Rwanda was a multifaceted endeavor aimed at exploring potential partnerships and collaborations in various sectors. As an entrepreneur himself, he engaged with Rwandan companies, seeking avenues to expand his Choplife gaming company and increase his impact on African youth and the creative industry.
Education, however, remains a core focus for the artist. During his Rwandan visit, Mr Eazi met with representatives from the Ministry of Sports to discuss potential collaborations aimed at creating more opportunities for young people through sports development programs.
