Nigeria Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen is nearing a move away from Serie A club Napoli as the Antonio Conte’s side have lined up a possible replacement for the hitman.
Osimhen has been one of the most sought-after footballers this summer with interests lining up from Spain, England and France.
The Super Eagles forward is valued at €120 million by his club Napoli including Victor’s high wages which has been one of the reasons for club’s still contemplating his acquisition.
With the financial play rule regulations, clubs are taking their time to access their market expenditures and income before making a big signing like Osimhen.
French club Paris Saint-Germain are the leading candidates to sign Osimhen but are hampered by the huge fee due to financial fair play laws.
According to reports, PSG must sale one of their forwards to be able to bring Osimhen to Parc Des Princes.
Former Valencia midfielder Carlos Soler, French defender Nordi Mukiele, and former Valencia star and Korean winger Lee Kang-In are all lineup to be exchanged by PSG for Osimhen.
Napoli who have confirmed and allow clubs to negotiate with the African footballer of the year is also planning life without the 2022/2023 Serie A top scorer.
Antonio Conte has identified one of his former players, Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku to be his successor when he departs Naples.
Lukaku spent last season on loan at AS Roma and has returned to Stamford Bridge as Chelsea are looking on top cash in for the forward.
