Manchester United legend Garry Neville was furious with the team’s performance after suffering another 3-0 defeat at Old Trafford this season, this time against Spurs.

United faced an embarrassing 3-0 defeat in the hands of Tottenham Hotspurs at Old Trafford to record their third loss of the campaign in just six rounds of matches.

United have won just two games this season thanks to a 1-0 victory against Fulham at Old Trafford on opening day of the league and a 3-0 victory over Southampton at St Mary’s.

They have lost three games and a goalless draw against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park after a humiliating defeat by Liverpool at Old Trafford and a narrow defeat by Brighton at the Amex stadium.

Neville was furious at full time, calling their performance with most specificity in the first half a disgrace.

“There’s Turn Moss playing fields down the road from here in Trafford where Sunday League teams would have played better than this, this morning”. Neville said.

“Manchester United have played like a pub team in the first 45 minutes today”, he added.
