Nigerian singer Spyro has candidly shared his journey towards embracing celibacy, revealing the internal conflict he faced over premarital sex.

In a recent Instagram post, the 33-year-old musician admitted that while he once found pleasure in it, the guilt that followed weighed heavily on his conscience.

Reflecting on his experiences, Spyro confessed, “Sex felt good till I could no longer bear struggling with my conscience. Every time I ‘FORNICATED’ knowing I ain’t married to the person, I feel troubled, like a part of me gets taken right after.”

Determined to break free from this internal struggle, the singer turned to prayer and ultimately decided to distance himself from situations that tempted him.

He shared, “I struggled for a while but I kept praying for strength and when the time came, I disengaged from all lingering connects at the time.”

Spyro acknowledged that maintaining celibacy has been challenging, particularly during his travels where temptations arise. He explained, “It hasn’t been easy, especially when I travel and these clean girls begin to get funny around me, and promoters never make it easy too, but now they know. But yeah, I am keeping this bed for ONE now.”

His decision has sparked conversations among fans, with many admiring his commitment to his values.
