The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd. (NNPC Ltd.) has issued a warning to the public about fraudulent activities involving the sale of employment slots within the company.
In a statement released on Saturday in Abuja and signed by Olufemi Soneye, Chief Corporate Communications Officer, NNPC Ltd. cautioned job seekers and the general public against falling victim to scammers claiming to sell job positions at the company.
The statement clarified, “NNPC Ltd. urges the public to disregard any rumors suggesting that employment slots are available for purchase.
These claims are unfounded and are merely attempts by fraudsters to exploit unsuspecting individuals.”
It emphasized that NNPC Ltd. follows a transparent recruitment process and does not engage in the sale of employment positions or any form of inducement.
The statement further warned that individuals who pay money for jobs at NNPC Ltd. do so at their own risk, underscoring the company’s commitment to integrity in its hiring practices.
