The Chairman of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Kano, Hashimu Sulaiman Dungurawa, has shed light on the recent suspension controversy surrounding the party’s National Leader, Presidential Candidate, and Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State. Dungurawa revealed that those behind the purported suspension were expelled from the party long ago.

In a strong statement, Dungurawa clarified that the individuals claiming to have suspended Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso were expelled from the party due to their involvement in multiple anti-party activities and collusion with the opposition to create internal turmoil within the NNPP.

Highlighting the inconsistencies in the suspension extension announced by Umar Jibrin and Omalara Johnson, Dungurawa emphasized a crucial missing link in their actions.

As a party with just one serving governor and the presidential candidate, both of whom played pivotal roles in nurturing the party’s growth, it simply does not make sense to claim their suspension.

Dungurawa further alleged that he is well aware of the instigators behind the crises in the NNPP. According to him, these instigators are opposition forces who are apprehensive about the potential emergence of Kwankwaso as the next President of Nigeria in 2027, if fate allows.

Despite the challenges faced, Dungurawa assured supporters that the NNPP remains one of the country’s most prominent emerging parties. He stated with conviction that the party will eventually present the nation’s next president.

Moreover, he boldly claimed to know the true sponsors of the purported suspension, pointing fingers at the ruling government and the Chairman of the APC.

The NNPP Chairman’s revelation sheds new light on the situation, exposing the opposition’s ulterior motives and reaffirming the party’s determination to overcome internal obstacles and emerge stronger than ever.
