Hashimu Suleiman Dungurawa, the Kano State Chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has asserted that President Bola Tinubu will face defeat in the upcoming 2027 elections.
Dungurawa criticized Tinubu’s stringent policies, claiming they are detrimental to the populace and will ultimately lead to his downfall.
In a statement, he declared, “Tinubu, you must either amend your policies, or we, the Nigerian people, will unite to remove you. Prepare for a loss if you aim for a second term.”
He pointed out that since taking office on May 29, 2023, President Tinubu has been implementing measures that negatively impact the masses, and has continued to do so without regard for public sentiment.
“With these unpopular policies and your refusal to change course, be ready for defeat in the next elections,” he warned.
Dungurawa expressed confidence that the NNPP would emerge victorious across all 36 states and in the presidential race in 2027.
“With the myriad of issues stemming from the APC administration, it’s only a matter of time before we ensure Tinubu is ousted in 2027, making way for Kwankwaso, a genuine democrat,” he concluded.
