In an electrifying start to Big Brother Naija Season 9, the pair of Ocee and Ozumba Mbadiwe clinched the coveted Head of House title after an intense competition on Monday.
Unlike previous seasons, this year’s Head of House challenge introduced a twist where housemates engaged in a ballot game. Instead of the usual physical tasks, the contestants voted for the pair they wanted to win the Head of House challenge.
The voting resulted in a tie between the Mbadiwe twins and the pair of Fairme Davido and Michky. Ultimately, the custodians, a unique aunt and niece duo, cast the deciding vote in favor of the Mbadiwe twins, securing their victory.

However, the title comes with a significant twist this season. The Head of House winners will not enjoy immunity from eviction, meaning Ocee and Ozumba Mbadiwe are still at risk of being sent home.
This season of BBNaija, which kicked off on Sunday night, introduced an exciting new dynamic by pairing contestants as they entered the house, adding an extra layer of strategy and drama to the competition.
