The Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology, in collaboration with the Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), and the Ogun State Technical and Vocational Education Board (OGSTVEB), has launched the recruitment process for the Ogun State Teaching Experience Acquisition Channel (OgunTEACh) Internship Program.
This special initiative aims to fill vacancies in public primary, secondary, and technical colleges across the state.
Eligible applicants must possess at least a National Certificate in Education (NCE) or a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in Education (B.A. Ed/B.Sc. Ed/B.Ed) with a minimum of a Second Class Lower in relevant subjects. Candidates without education-specific qualifications are required to have a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from a recognized institution.
For technical college roles, applicants must hold a B.Sc. Ed in Technical Education, a B.Sc. in Engineering, B.Eng., or a Higher National Diploma (HND) in engineering fields.
Interested individuals should apply via the Ogun State Job Portal at teach.ogunstate.gov.ng. The online registration will be open from Wednesday, October 16, to Wednesday, November 6, 2024.
Successful candidates, known as TEACh-Interns, will be assigned to local government areas based on the state’s needs.
During the two-year internship, they will receive a monthly stipend, and their performance will be evaluated on factors such as expertise, commitment, punctuality, respect for authority, and willingness to serve in designated locations.
