African Footballer of the year Victor Osimhen has displayed his anger on claims that he intentionally refused to play for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Thw Napoli forward missed Nigeria’s last two games against South Africa and Benin Republic in which Nigeria dropped points in both games.
Nigeriabei played a 1-1 draw against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo and proceeded to a 2-1 loss to Benin Republic in world cup qualifying games.
These results have jeopardized Nigeria’s opportunity of playing in the next edition of the FIFA World Cup which is jointly-hosted by Canada, Mexico and the United States of America.
However, the former Lille man has expressed his displeasure on how Super Eagles coach Finidi George has handled the situation (his absence from the squad) and he’s been furious on the ex-eagles star.
“I have lost respect for Finidi – [Victor Osimhen on claims that he cannot be begged to play for the Super Eagles]
“I will post the pictures also and the screenshots I had when I spoke to Finidi George (after he was appointed) because you all believe that someone is keeping quiet because he is a footballer, ogun kill anybody, any of you that believe (I didn’t want to play for Nigeria).” Osimen said.
“You can talk nonsense. I have lost the respect I had for that man (Finidi), I have lost it all. I sw**r to God I have lost it now because why? I called him, told him to allow me to come to the camp to be with the boys, I have all these recorded, to come talk to the boys,” Osimhen fumed in an explosive live video.
