Nigeria Super Eagles goal pocher Victor Osimhen has resumed work in his new office as a Galatasaray player.

The former Napoli man resumed training with his new teammates in Turkey, and he was pictured with all smiles, especially after meeting his old friend Dries Mertens.

Osimhen was a teammate and friend of Mertens and was quoted as saying he started following Galatasaray the day Mertens joined the club.

He was seen singing the club’s match day song on his arrival at the club, a clear indication of his participation in the club’s games from Naples.

After meeting failed deals over the summer, the 25-year-old joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan.

From Napoli rejecting PSG’s €80 million to Chelsea being stalked in negotiations until the deadline day was shut including a complicated Saudi Deal that was off due to several implications.

Osimhen decided to take off to Galatasaray at warm up for the winter window or probably the ext summer transfer.

The Super Eagles man came off the bench to score in Nigeria’s 3-0 victory over the Cheetahs of Benin Republic at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo in Nigeria’s AFCON qualifiers.

At just 25, he has scored a whopping 22 goals for the national team, excluding the record-breaking 10 goals at the FIFA U-17 World Cup that brought him to the limelight.

Osimhen is hoping to thrive at his new club as he has regained his joy for playing football.
