Pastor Bolaji Idowu, Lead Pastor of Harvesters International Christian Center, has firmly denied the recent allegations of fraud and money laundering, maintaining his innocence during a “Next Level Prayers” session on Wednesday.

These allegations come after reports surfaced that he had been arrested and was under investigation by the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) of the Nigerian police for financial crimes involving N1.5 billion.

Addressing the surge of social media reports, Pastor Idowu said, “Over the last 24 hours, there’s been a lot of news about me on social media. I just want to state some facts clearly.”

The pastor specifically denied any involvement in real estate transactions, clarifying, “I do not have any property in Nigeria apart from the one bequeathed to me by my late parents. I am not in the business of buying or selling properties.” He also rejected claims that billions of naira had been transferred into his accounts, stating, “Someone said I received billions into my account. My account is public; anyone can check if I have ever received such amounts. I did not.”

While Pastor Idowu refrained from discussing the details of the ongoing investigation, he expressed gratitude toward his supporters. “I want to thank all of you who showed a lot of love. We are victorious,” he said. “As you are reading it, I’m also reading it, like wow.”

The pastor invited anyone with solid evidence against him to present it, maintaining his stance of innocence. Earlier reports indicated that Pastor Idowu had been detained for questioning by the FCID in Abuja in connection with the allegations. He is currently under investigation for suspected involvement in real estate fraud and money laundering.
