The Zamfara State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has conveyed its sincere condolences regarding the recent tragic motor accident on the Abuja-Kaduna Expressway, which affected several members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) from the state.
The journalists were returning home after attending the Triennial Delegates Conference in Imo State.
State PDP chairman, Dr. Jamil Jibo Magayaki, expressed that the entire State Working Committee (SWC) is profoundly saddened by the news of the incident and extended their sympathies to both the national and Zamfara State Councils of the NUJ.
This information was shared in a statement by the PDP’s publicity officer, Comrade Haliru Andi, which was released to reporters in Gusau, the state capital.
“The Chairman expressed gratitude to Allah that no lives were lost in the accident and urged the victims to view this event as part of divine will,” he stated.
Dr. Magayaki also prayed for a swift recovery for the injured and called for measures to prevent such incidents from happening in the future.
