As the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gears up for its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting scheduled for October 24, the Tom Ikimi-led National Disciplinary Committee (NDC) has announced its readiness to begin operations.

The committee expressed its commitment to ensuring fairness for all members called to appear before it and emphasized the importance of receiving support from the party’s membership.

In a statement released by the committee’s Chairman, Chief Ikimi, he remarked, “As the NDC prepares to hold its sessions and welcomes petitions and grievances from members through the party’s National Working Committee (NWC), we assure all party members, including PDP leadership and stakeholders, of our commitment to addressing all complaints with fairness, transparency, and decisiveness in line with the PDP constitution, which clearly outlines the offenses and corresponding sanctions.”

Ikimi further stated, “We are optimistic that our commitment to fairness and decisiveness will help restore hope and confidence in our party, meeting the expectations of our extensive membership across the nation and addressing the urgent need for effective national leadership among the Nigerian populace.”

He concluded by urging all PDP members and leadership to provide the committee with the necessary support and cooperation to successfully fulfill its mandate.
