Obi emphasized the significance of nurses in the country’s healthcare system, acknowledging the importance and impact of their work.
He also mentioned that nurses deserve all the recognition they can receive and Institutions like this should get budgetary allocation because of the great work they are doing in trying to train nurses who are always there with the patients.
He continued by saying “We can not talk about healthcare, which is very important to national development, without talking about healthcare workers.
“I have heard what the Head of the Nursing Department in the school has said, I want to assure you that we will come back.
Training these people is helping to protect our future. if we do not train them today, they will become a threat to us”
Ezeokafor expressed gratitude to Obi for his generosity towards the institution and the church. He mentioned that Peter had supported the institution even before his governorship and continued to do so as a private citizen.
Ezeokafor assured that the funds would be used wisely for the betterment of humanity, and he hoped for more support to come to the school.
