The Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution PLC has announced to its customers the reason for the Power outage currently experiencing in some cities of Rivers State.
Some major places in the capital of Rivers State and other places in the state have been without electricity for days now, and the company has announced its steps towards bringing it to an end.
In a release signed by the management of the company and dated Thursday, November 21, 2024 has expressed its desire to restore electricity.
“Kindly note that the outage currently experienced in Port Harcourt town is due to cut conductor at Port Harcut town transmission station.
“Affected feeders include: Borikiri, Secretariat, UST, Rumulomeni, Silver Bird, UTC and Amadi junction.
“We are working with TCN team to ensure full restoration as soon as possible.
“All inconveniences are deeply regretted.” The release said.
