Ondo State Police Command has finally apprehended the prime suspect in the murder of a popular caterer, Mrs. Pelumi Onabanjo, exactly one month after the gruesome incident shook the community. The suspect, identified as Mr. Akinwale, the driver of the deceased, was arrested in Akure after a thorough investigation led authorities to his hideout in a nearby village.
Mrs. Onabanjo, who was widely known for her catering services across Ondo State, was found dead in her home in Owo on August 21st, sparking outrage and calls for justice. The police had initially launched a manhunt for Mr. Akinwale, who was last seen leaving the residence on the day of the murder.
