The Imo State Police Command has apprehended two individuals involved in a disturbing kidnapping scheme in Owerri.

The suspects, identified as Andrew and his partner, Nelly, were arrested after an intensive investigation revealed their role in luring unsuspecting victims to kidnappers.

According to police reports, Andrew and Nelly had been using deceitful tactics to attract individuals to locations where they were subsequently abducted by a network of kidnappers.

The couple reportedly operated for several months, leveraging trust and charm to manipulate their targets.

The breakthrough came after a recent kidnapping case led to an investigation that uncovered the duo’s involvement. Authorities were alerted by suspicious patterns in the abductions, which eventually led to the arrest of Andrew and Nelly.
