In a swift and decisive operation, the Kogi State Police Command successfully rescued a young girl from the hands of kidnappers this afternoon.The dramatic rescue took place in the Obajana area, where the victim had been held captive.

According to Police spokesman, David Aya, the rescue operation was launched following a tip-off from vigilant residents who noticed suspicious activities in the vicinity. The police acted promptly, storming the hideout and apprehending three suspects believed to be involved in the kidnapping.

The young girl, whose identity is being protected, was found in a distressed state and had evidently suffered physical assault at the hands of her captors.
