Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has stirred more controversy by declaring himself a pastor, asserting that God speaks through him.
This statement follows widespread outrage after a video surfaced showing Portable allegedly assaulting a pastor who was preaching at his bar.
The incident, which quickly went viral, drew sharp criticism from Nigerians, with many condemning Portable’s actions.
The aggrieved pastor, offended by the singer’s conduct, labelled it as disrespectful and warned that Portable would face consequences for his behaviour.

In response to the backlash, Portable, dressed in a celestial outfit, defended himself in a new video, claiming, “I’m a pastor. When I speak, God speaks. I have never disrespected any pastor. If he were one, God would have told me.”
The singer’s latest remarks have further fueled conversations online, as many question his sudden spiritual declaration.
