Controversial Nigerian musician, Portable, has advised crossdresser Bobrisky to seek forgiveness and reconsider his lifestyle following Bobrisky’s recent admission of contemplating suicide.
This revelation comes after allegations of an N15 million bribery scandal involving the crossdresser and officials from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The incident gained attention after social media critic, VeryDarkMan, shared a leaked audio recording on Tuesday, where Bobrisky narrated events surrounding his four-month imprisonment.
In the recording, Bobrisky also alleged that Nigerian artist Falz had contacted him, claiming his father, Femi Falana, could help secure a presidential pardon.
The leaked audio sparked widespread public outrage, with calls for an investigation into corruption within the EFCC and the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS).

In response to the scandal, Bobrisky revealed on his social media that he was struggling with suicidal thoughts. Reacting to Bobrisky’s emotional post, Portable shared a video on Instagram, urging the crossdresser to seek God’s forgiveness and avoid contemplating suicide.
In his video, Portable said, “Bobrisky, life is risky. God doesn’t want sinners to die. Tell him to repent. If you die as a sinner, you are going to hell. Beg God to forgive you.”
He continued, “Help me tell Bobrisky to ask God for forgiveness. All he needs is to ask God for forgiveness of sin. What Bobrisky is facing now, if he repents, he will enjoy the world.”
Bobrisky, who was sentenced to four months in prison in April 2024 for abusing the Nigerian currency, has yet to respond to Portable’s advice.
