Mrs. Ogunbunmi, a pregnant woman, has reportedly been abducted by unidentified gunmen in Ogun State.

According to the information by Daily Post, Mrs. Ogunbunmi, who is expecting to deliver soon, left her home in Oke Lantoro with the intention of going to the State General Hospital in Ijaiye, Abeokuta.

Her husband, Ogunbunmi Lateef, received a distressing WhatsApp message informing him that his wife had been kidnapped by unknown individuals.

Confirming the incident on Thursday, the Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, issued a statement indicating that the suspected abduction had been officially reported to the Command.

The abduction of Mrs. Ogunbunmi has sparked concern and drawn attention to the security situation in the area, prompting authorities to take action in response to this distressing development.

She stated that Ogunbunmi Lateef from Oke Lantoro had reported that his pregnant wife, who was nearing delivery, had left home to go to the State Hospital in Ijaiye, Abeokuta.

Later, he received a WhatsApp message confirming that his wife had been abducted by unknown gunmen.
