President Bola Tinubu has named new leaders for several key agencies in Nigeria. Mainasara Kogo is the new chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), while Omolola Oloworaran is the new Director-General of the National Pension Commission (PenCom). These appointments, along with several others, were announced by President Tinubu’s spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, on Saturday.

Mainasara Kogo, a well-experienced lawyer with a strong background in law, security, economy, politics, and international affairs, is now the head of the CCT. President Tinubu has chosen him to lead this important tribunal which deals with the ethical conduct of public officers.

Omolola Oloworaran, an expert in finance and banking with years of experience, is the new Director-General of the National Pension Commission (PenCom). Her appointment is pending the approval of the Nigerian Senate. She will oversee the commission responsible for regulating and supervising pension schemes in Nigeria.

Jobson Ewalefoh has been appointed as the new Director-General of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC). His appointment also requires Senate confirmation. The ICRC oversees public-private partnerships for infrastructure development in Nigeria.

Oluwaseun Faleye is the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF). He brings a wealth of experience as a legal and corporate finance specialist. Faleye has also served as a lawmaker and was the Chairperson of the Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Women Affairs, Poverty Alleviation, and Job Creation.

President Tinubu is urging all these newly appointed leaders to use their expertise and professionalism to enhance the performance and efficiency of their respective agencies. He believes that their leadership will bring positive changes and improvements to the Nigerian public service sector.
