President Bola Tinubu has expressed his delight following the successful operation by troops of Operation Hadarin Daji, which resulted in the elimination of notorious bandit leader Halilu Sububu. Sububu had been a source of terror for residents in Zamfara, Sokoto, and various regions of northwestern Nigeria.

In addition to Sububu, the military operation also led to the death of another terrorist, Sani Wala Burki, during a coordinated effort in Katsina. The troops were able to dismantle a terrorist hideout in Kaduna, liberating 13 students who had been kidnapped.

Tinubu has reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the military, stating that the successful operations serve as a testament to the capabilities of Nigeria’s security forces in maintaining the nation’s peace and safety.

These effective actions came in response to the President’s order for service chiefs to remain in the affected areas until stability is restored.

“I commend the Military High Command, intelligence agencies, and all troops for their courageous efforts, teamwork, and commitment, which have led to these commendable results,” the President remarked.

He also praised the overall security framework for the enhanced safety across the nation and urged them to maintain their vigilance until all immediate and potential threats are eradicated.

Tinubu assured the security agencies of his ongoing support in their crucial mission to ensure the safety and security of Nigeria.
