President Tinubu has expressed his deepest condolences to the families of the brave soldiers who lost their lives in the line of duty, assuring that their sacrifices in defense of the nation will always be honored and remembered.

In a press release issued by Bayo Onanuga, the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, it was highlighted that following the tragic incident, President Tinubu has demanded a comprehensive investigation to uncover the events leading up to the occurrence and to ensure that lessons are learned to prevent future incidents.

The statement conveyed, “The president praises the armed forces for their rapid and effective response, especially from the air division, which executed successful retaliatory strikes.”

These targeted air operations resulted in the substantial neutralization of numerous terrorists and the destruction of their resources as they attempted to escape.

President Tinubu remarked, “This decisive action by the military showcases their capability and readiness to confront and eliminate threats to our nation’s security. Their efforts affirm our commitment to eradicating terrorism and banditry, paving the way for a future of peace and safety for all Nigerians.”

He further extended heartfelt gratitude and sympathy to the military and security forces on behalf of a grateful nation, stating, “Your sacrifices and commitment do not go unnoticed, and we fully support you in this ongoing battle against these threats.”

Additionally, President Tinubu urged the military to take a proactive approach in confronting bandits and terrorists in their camps, particularly focusing on the Northwest region, where these criminals pose a significant danger to the lives and homes of innocent citizens.
