President Bola Tinubu has promised to ensure that individuals engaging in criminal activities face severe legal consequences.
Addressing the audience through the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, at the graduation ceremony of the Executive Intelligence Management Course 17 held at the National Institute for Security Studies in Abuja, Tinubu emphasized that both domestic and international wrongdoers would be held accountable.
He reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to maintaining security and stability throughout the nation. “If you are a criminal, whether within Nigeria or abroad, you are in jeopardy. We will pursue you relentlessly and bring you to justice,” he asserted.
In addition, the Director-General of the DSS, Adeọla Ajayi, remarked that Nigeria could overcome its security challenges if all agencies collaborated effectively.
Ajayi stated, “Together, we can secure victory. The collaboration between the Chief of Defence Staff and the National Security Adviser has fostered a synergy I have not encountered in my career. We must unite our efforts.”
He added, “Our key takeaway is that no security threat can triumph over us if we stand together. Soon, all Nigerians will be able to sleep peacefully. We appreciate the President for the positive direction you are providing for the country.”
“Thank you for appointing me; I vow to uphold your trust,” he concluded.
