In a remarkable move, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has granted his resolute approval for an astounding sum of over N12 billion to be allocated towards Team Nigeria’s comprehensive preparation and participation at the much-anticipated 2024 Paris Olympics and Paralympics in the enchanting city of Paris, France.

He revealed that President Tinubu has wholeheartedly embraced Nigeria’s sports ambitions by giving his unwavering nod to the entire budget estimate submitted for Nigeria’s distinguished involvement in the Paris Olympics and Paralympics.

The approved N12 billion budget has been thoughtfully allocated into two distinct parts. A staggering N9 billion has been designated for the Olympics, which will see our remarkable able-bodied athletes showcase their indomitable spirit and skills from July 26th to August 11th.

In addition, an awe-inspiring N3 billion has been specifically earmarked for the Paralympics, with an unwavering focus on empowering our exceptional physically challenged athletes to shine on the global stage from August 28th to September 8th.
