The Police Service Commission (PSC) has announced the approval and release of a list of 10,000 successful applicants for recruitment into the constable and specialist roles of the Nigeria Police Force.

PSC said the successful applicants come from all 774 local government areas in the country. The list was published after a thorough recruitment process to ensure fairness and equity.

In a statement on Tuesday, Ikechukwu Ani, the Head of Press and Public Relations for PSC, said, “The Police Service Commission has approved and released the list of 10,000 successful applicants for recruitment into the constable cadre of the Nigeria Police Force.”

According to Ani, 9,000 applicants were approved for General Duty roles, while 1,000 were recruited for specialist positions.

Ani explained that the commission worked with various stakeholders, including the Nigeria Police Force, the National Assembly, and the Federal Character Commission, to ensure an equitable distribution of successful candidates across all local government areas.

Dr. Solomon Arase, the Chairman of the Commission, expressed his optimism, stating, “I am filled with optimism because these young men and women represent the future of our nation’s security, and it is our collective responsibility to ensure that their journey begins on a foundation of integrity, transparency, and excellence.”

The PSC has advised successful candidates to check their application status on the PSC’s dedicated web page or contact the PSC recruitment help desk for any complaints or inquiries.
