Manchester United new manager Rubén Amorim was ruthless in his first win in the premier League division.
United recorded an emphatic 4-0 victory over Everton at Old Trafford in Amorim’s overall third game in charge.
Marcus Rashford scored twice with Joshua Zirkzee also netting a brace after much criticism of his work rate.
Winger Amad Diallo was in form as usual as captain Bruno Fernandes was also on top of his game.
Rashford opened the scoring in the 34th minute after Bruno Fernandes’ technically driven corner kick that met the England winger just outside the box who took a one-time shot that defended off Everton defender to gift United the lead.
Fernandes again found Joshua Zirkzee inside the area with a short cross ball after Amad worked hard to steal the ball off Branthwaite for United’s second.
Amad again charged down the right wing after being released by Zirkzee as he rolled the ball inside the area with Rashford to score his second of the afternoon and extend United’s lead to 3-0.
The Ivorian wing wizard again was in his wings to set up the arriving Zirkzee who slotted past stranded Jordan Pickford.
United recorded their biggest win in Amorim’s regime as he remained unbeaten since his arrival.
