Sporting CP and their most prolific forward Viktor Gyökeres have revealed their agreement to allow the forward leave in the summer, provided a club agrees to pay about €75M, including bonuses and add-ons.

Gyökeres is being watched by numerous prominent clubs throughout Europe for the forthcoming summer transfer window.

A move to Saudi is considered to be very unlikely, despite Saudi Clubs ready to push and invest big money.

The forward has been magnificent for club and country, scoring goals while providing assists to help his team.

Top clubs including Manchester United have been linked with the forward and a reunion to his former boss Rubén Amorim who is now at Manchester United is not ruled out.

Amorim who played a key role in the player’s elevation to becoming a top player after joining Sporting from Coventry said he is not ready to raid his former club for any player, but was careful not to rule out the possibility of Gyökeres joining him in the premier League.

United will be careful in their signing especially after investing heavily in the forward with young attackers Rasmus Hojland and Joshua Zirkzee being brought in by former boss Erik Ten Hag.
