Five-timr Ballon D’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo has rated the Global soccer awards over the Ballon D’Or.
Ronaldo made the statement during the 2024 globe soccer award ceremony after Vinicius Jr was crowned best player of the year.
Ronaldo queried why the Brazilian did not win the Ballon D’Or after many anticipated the Real Madrid man to be named World best.
“Vinicius Jr should have won the 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐧 𝐝’𝐎𝐫, it’s been unfair decision”.
“This is why I love Globe Soccer Awards, as they are HONEST”.
Real Madrid Midfielder Jude Bellingham was named the best midfielder of the year as Carlo Ancelotti won best coach award.
Real Madrid were named best team of the year as Ballon D’Or winner Rodri missed out in the awards.
Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo was also named all-time highest goal scorer.
Vinicius Jr while responding to his award was full of thanks and believes he is on the right track.
“It’s not easy to get here. I’ve given up a lot in pursuit of my dreams and one main goal which is To make my loved ones proud”.

“I’ve won five titles with Real Madrid and this individual recognition from Globe Soccer shows that I’m on the right track”.
