Manchester United’s new coach Rubén Amorim has become only the first manager in the premier League era to begin his term with a draw.

United played a 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town, thanks to goals from Marcus Rashford and Hutchinson who grabbed the equalizer late on in the first half for the home side.

Amorim instituted his own style of Play, deploying his most-preferred 3-4-3 formation, with Jonny Evans, Matthijs De Ligt and Mazraoui starting the back three.

Casemiro and Erikson anchored the Midfield, while Amad and Dalot played as wing backs.

Argentine teenage sensation, Alejandro Gernacho, Marcus Rashford and Captain Bruno Fernandes led the attack while Andre Onana who made what could be classified as the save of the season remained in goal.

Following his announcement as the head coach of Manchester United, Rubén Amorim became only the 7th man to man the United’s dugout on a permanent basis in the premier League era.

Legendary manager, Sir Alexander Ferguson, who is unarguably British’s greatest football manager began his era as Man United coach in the Premier League with a 2-1 loss at Sheffield United.

David Moyes who took over from Sir Alex recorded an emphatic 4-1 first game win against Swansea at Old Trafford.

Luis Van Gaal who replaced Moyes visited the Welsh side (Swansea) in his first game and lost with a 2-1 result.

José Mourinho who appeared to be the most successful coach after Sir Alex began his Premier League career with a 3-1 win over Bournemouth.

Following his relief from duty and being replaced by former United legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the former striker began his career at Cardiff City in which he had a stint as their manager and recorded an emphatic 5-1 victory against the Wales side.

The last permanent manager before Rubén Amorim, Erik Ten Hag began his Premier league campaign with a 2-1 loss at Brighton which made it three wins and three losses for the past managers who served on permanent basis at Old Trafford before Amorim was appointed.

The Portuguese tactician became the first United’s permanent coach to record a draw on their first premier league outing as he gained a 1-1 draw away at Ipswich Town.

United’s next fixture will be a UEFA Europa League game against Bodoe/Glimt at Old Trafford as Amorim will be seeking his first victory as a Man United coach.
