Saudi Arabia club Al Hilal has tabled a tempting bid to lure Manchester City right back João Cancelo from the Premier league side.

Cancelo who is considered as surplus to the requirement at the Etihad by Pep Guardiola is willing to make the move.

The 30-year old spent last season on loan at Barcelona, making 42 appearances both in La Liga and in UEFA Champions League for the Catalonian club, scoring six goals with five assists as a rightback.

Al Hilal has tabled a €40 million transfer fee to Manchester City with a staggering €23.3 million annual wages.

The deal which is set to last until the dummer of 2027 will see Cancelo earn a whopping €70 million throughout the extent of the contract.

The former Bayern Munich Defender will according to reports travel to Riyad soon to complete the formalities of the deal.

He’s the first choice for Portuguese manager Jorge Jesus.

In case of Cancelo’s arrival, Al Hilal RB Saud Abdulhamid could join AS Roma as talks took place.
