Napoli forward Victor Osimhen can still be leaving the Naples-based side despite exceeding the Deadline Day of the top European leagues.

Osimhen was stocked on deadline day with constant negotiations with both Chelsea and Saudi delegates as the deal failed to materialise.

Chelsea delegation left Italy on Friday night after failing to strike a deal for the African footballer of the year but arrived at signing Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho who agreed to join the London side on loan.

But the Nigerian international Osimhen can still leave Napoli as the Saudi League window remains open.

Several divisions with the most specificity the fourth tier of Saudi football will have their window shut on October 24 while their major top leagues will end transfers on September 2.

Al Ahli remained in serious contention for the signature of former Wolfsburg and Lille forward Osimhen after presenting audacious bids to tempt him away from Europe to the Far East.

A total package of around €80 million was guaranteed at club level with an annual salary of between €25 million to €30 million.

A four-year contract with a release clause of less than €100 million was on the table for Victor which means he can leave the oil-rich state anytime he finds himself a new club in Europe.

The decision has always been on Osimhen to take as his relationship with Napoli has broken in totality with rumours of him not being part of the squad should he fail to find himself a new club this summer.

Napoli’s New boss Antonio Conte signed his long-term target, Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea and it is believed that the Italian is very satisfied with the squad and finds Osimhen surplus to requirements.
