Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele has expressed that one of the reasons President Bola Ahmed Tinubu enjoys peace of mind is due to the trust and support he receives from Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
Bamidele shared these sentiments during a celebration honoring Akpabio’s 62nd birthday.
He praised Akpabio’s leadership, emphasizing that President Tinubu holds Akpabio’s counsel in high regard and values his insights.
“I believe one of the reasons President Tinubu can rest easy is because he has you, Akpabio, serving as the President of the Senate,” Bamidele remarked.
“He has faith in you, relies on you, and takes your advice very seriously.”
Addressing Akpabio directly, he continued, “Mr. President of the Senate, we are all immensely proud of you. I stand here on behalf of my colleagues, and I know my words reflect their sentiments.”
Bamidele concluded by expressing gratitude for Akpabio’s character and the exemplary leadership he provides.
