The President of the 10th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Distinguished Senator Godswill Akpabio has joined other Nigerians to mourn the painful demise of the First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Mrs Patience Umo Eno.
Patience was said to have had her last breath in the early hours of Friday, September 27, 2024.
In a statement released by the former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellecy Senator Godswill Akpabio via his official Facebook page wished the family fortitude to mourn the demise
“I Mourn The Death of My Governor’s Wife, Pastor Patience Umo.
“Your Excellency, My dear brother and Governor, Pastor Umo Eno.
“I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of your beloved wife, Her Excellency, Pastor (Mrs). Patience Umo Eno.
“My heart goes out to you and your family during this incredibly difficult time.
“I knew Pastor Patience Umo Eno closely and she was an incredible partner and an exceptional woman, whose kindness, compassion and dedication to the family and the people of Akwa Ibom State, will never be forgotten.
“Her support and partnership with you throughout your journey were invaluable. Her legacy will continue to inspire and uplift us.
“My family, the people of Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial District, the Senate and the 10th National Assembly stand in solidarity with you, sharing in your grief and offering our heartfelt condolences.
“May God grant you and the entire family the strength and courage to bear this irreparable loss.
“May the soul of Pastor (Mrs) Patience Umo Eno, rest in perfect peace.” The statement reads.
