Senator Ifeanyi Ubah has pledged to uplift Anambra State from what he terms a “directionless administration.” His commitment was highlighted during a recent event where he donated a substantial sum to the state’s chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Ubah’s significant contribution of 50 million naira stands out among other donations from notable supporters, including Princess Esom Nwafor Orizu, Prince Emeka Egwuekwe (Apakata Onyi Enugwu-Agidi), and Chief Chinedu Okeke (Ekwe Ogidi), each contributing 5 million naira. Additional pledges came from Lord Michael Mbanefo (3 million naira), Arinze Awogu (2 million naira), and Hon. Acobarry Chukwuma (1 million naira).

According to party officials, Ubah’s financial backing arrives at a crucial moment when the APC in Anambra is in need of rejuvenation. Prior to Ubah’s shift to the APC, the party struggled with issues such as a lack of reward mechanisms, resulting in dwindling membership and support. His contributions are anticipated to tackle these challenges and enhance the party’s effectiveness and appeal within the state.

In addition to his financial aid, Ubah has been actively engaged in several initiatives aimed at strengthening the party’s foothold. His support has included the distribution of Keke Napep to all APC chairpersons, as well as providing motorcycles, generators, and branded uniforms. He also sponsored a significant colloquium attended by members of the National Working Committee and the National Chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

Moreover, Ubah is recognized for organizing one of the largest empowerment initiatives for residents of Anambra South, benefiting both party affiliates and local citizens alike.

Officials have noted that Ubah’s involvement is poised to be a game-changer for the APC in Anambra. With his extensive grassroots connections and unwavering dedication, the party is expected to gain greater success and influence in the political arena of Anambra State.
