Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas, 43, is expecting her first child with Cornell “Nelly” Haynes Jr., 49. The couple previously dated for a decade from 2003 to around 2013 before rekindling their relationship in 2023.
Nelly has two older children from previous relationships: a 29-year-old daughter named Chanelle and a 24-year-old son named Cornell Haynes III. He also took on the responsibility of caring for his late sister Jackie Donahue’s children, Shawn and Sydney Thomas, after her passing from Leukemia in 2005.
