Nigerian music executive, Soso Soberekon, faced a significant loss after wagering $10,000 on England in the UEFA Euro 2024 final, only to see his bet fall short as Spain triumphed over England. His bet was against singer Zlatan Ibile, who had placed an equivalent $10,000 bet on Spain.

A video earlier shared on Zlatan’s Instagram captured the tense moment when both men made their high-stakes bets. Soberekon confidently backed England, while Zlatan supported Spain, setting the stage for an exciting showdown in the final match.

Spain took the lead early in the second half, with Thepaan finding the net just two minutes in. England’s hopes were briefly revived when substitute Cole Palmer equalized in the 73rd minute, igniting celebrations among their supporters.

The outcome of the match left Soberekon disappointed, and he took to his Instagram story to express his feelings with a crying emoji, highlighting the emotional toll of his lost bet.
