Tottenham and Liverpool will both hope there are no problems with the Puma Orbita 1 ball tonight.
Mikel Arteta lamented Arsenal’s inefficiency in front of goal against Newcastle last night, complaining about the ‘tricky’ ball used in the Carabao Cup.
He said: _“We also kicked a lot of balls over the bar, and it’s tricky that these balls fly a lot so there are details we can do better. (The ball) is just different.
_“Very different to a Premier League ball, and you have to adapt to that because it flies differently, when you touch it the grip is very different as well so you adapt to that.”
The bad news for Arteta is that, as of next season, Puma will replace Nike as the official match ball of the Premier League.
