NELFUND management has announced plans to publish the full list of institutions that have submitted complete student data for upload onto the NELFUND Student Verification System (SVS) portal on June 24, 2024.

Nasir Ayitogo, Head of Media and Public Relations at NELFUND, conveyed this in a statement in Abuja.

The list will include both Federal and State-owned institutions to ensure transparency and encourage access and participation in the scheme for both undergraduate applicants and tertiary institutions.

Ayitogo noted that many federal institutions have completed the exercise in the first phase, while the process is ongoing for state-owned institutions.

To access the fund, applicants’ details must feature in the institution’s submitted dataset to the NELFUND SVS for automatic verification. Failure to undergo this verification process would invalidate the application and disadvantage applicants.

It is crucial for the information provided by tertiary institutions to be complete and accurate. Matching JAMB numbers, Matriculation numbers, Admission numbers, full names, and dates of birth of applicants will support the evaluation process.

Applicants are advised to enter their data accurately when applying and ensure that their email addresses are correct.

NELFUND expressed appreciation for the cooperation received from tertiary institutions at both state and federal levels across the nation.
