TADA, the popular ride-hailing service, has partnered with the TON Foundation to launch a new service called TADA mini. This innovative offering will allow users to book rides directly within the Telegram messenger app, without the need for additional app downloads or sign-ups.

The TADA mini service is designed to provide a seamless and convenient transportation experience for users. By integrating the service into the Telegram platform, TADA is tapping into the messaging app’s extensive user base, making it easier for people to access and utilize the ride-hailing service.

“We are excited to bring TADA’s services to Telegram users through the TADA mini app,” said the TADA spokesperson. “This partnership with the TON Foundation allows us to leverage the power of blockchain technology to deliver a more secure and efficient ride-hailing experience.”

To celebrate the launch, TADA mini will offer free rides to the first 4,000 users from September 14 to September 18, 2024. Furthermore, users who transfer $TON or TON-USDT to their Tonkeeper wallet will receive a 50% discount on their next ride from September 16 to September 22, 2024.

The integration of TADA with Telegram’s platform is a strategic move that aligns with the messaging app’s efforts to expand its capabilities beyond basic chat functions. Telegram has been actively developing its “mini-app” ecosystem, allowing developers to create simple web applications that users can access directly within the app.

“Telegram’s integration with The Open Network (TON) has enhanced the capabilities of these mini-apps, adding security and scalability through blockchain technology,” the spokesperson explained. “This partnership with TADA is a prime example of how Telegram is leveraging Web3 technologies to provide users with innovative and accessible services.”

The TON Foundation, which supports The Open Network (TON), is working to integrate cryptocurrency into everyday life, simplifying the management of digital identities and assets. The partnership with TADA represents a significant step in merging ride-hailing with Web3 technology, with the aim of enhancing service accessibility and user experience.

“For Web3 technologies to gain widespread acceptance, collaboration with popular Web2 platforms is essential to introduce users to Web3’s benefits,” said Harvey Kim, who heads TON Foundation’s efforts in Korea. “This partnership with TADA is a crucial move to expand TON’s influence in Southeast Asia.”

The launch of TADA mini on Telegram, powered by the TON blockchain, marks a significant milestone in the integration of traditional services with emerging Web3 technologies. By leveraging the strengths of both platforms, TADA and TON are poised to deliver a more seamless and secure ride-hailing experience for users in the region.
