In a swift act of justice, a thief was apprehended today in the heart of Osogbo. The incident occurred around midday when a man was caught attempting to steal valuables from a local store
According to eyewitnesses, the thief was spotted trying to break into the store. Alert bystanders quickly intervened, surrounding the suspect and preventing his escape. The crowd managed to detain him until the arrival of the police.
“The suspect was caught in the act. Thanks to the vigilance of the community members, we were able to apprehend him without incident,” said Police spokesman, who led the responding officers.
The thief was immediately handed over to the police and taken to the Osogbo Police Station for further questioning and processing. Authorities have commended the public for their prompt action and cooperation in ensuring the safety of the community.
