President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of eight permanent secretaries in the federal civil service to address existing and anticipated vacancies across several states and geopolitical zones.
The newly appointed permanent secretaries are:
Onwusoro Maduka Ihemelandu (Abia State)
Ndiomu Ebiogeh Philip (Bayelsa State)
Anuma Ogbonnaya Nlia (Ebonyi State)
Ogbodo Chinasa Nnam (Enugu State)
Kalba Danjuma Usman (Gombe State)
Usman Salihu Aminu (Kebbi State)
Oyekunle Patience Nwakuso (Rivers State)
Nadungu Gagare (Kaduna State)
This marks the second batch of appointments by President Tinubu, following a similar selection last June that included appointees from Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Jigawa, Ondo, Zamfara, the South East, and the South-South.
According to a statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, the appointments were made based on recommendations from the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation after a thorough selection process.
President Tinubu called on the newly appointed permanent secretaries to exhibit greater dedication, innovation, and diligence in carrying out their duties in service to the nation.
